( 2 ) Allah, the Eternal Refuge.

( 3 ) He neither begets nor is born,
( 3 ) Il n'a jamais engendré, n'a pas été engendré non plus.
lam yalid walam youlad
( 4 ) Nor is there to Him any equivalent."
( 4 ) contre le mal de celles qui soufflent [les sorcières] sur les nœuds,
walam yakoun lahou koufo'wan ahad

( 1 ) Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak
( 1 ) Dis: «Je cherche protection auprès du Seigneur de l'aube naissante,
koul a'oudou birabbi lfalak

( 2 ) From the evil of that which He created
( 2 ) contre le mal des êtres qu'Il a créés,
min sharri ma khalak

( 3 ) And from the evil of darkness when it settles
( 3 ) contre le mal de l'obscurité quand elle s'approfondit,
wa min sharri ghassikin ida wakab

( 4 ) And from the evil of the blowers in knots
( 4 ) contre le mal de celles qui soufflent [les sorcières] sur les nœuds,
wa min sharri ' nafathati fi l'oukad

( 5 ) And from the evil of an envier when he envies."
( 5 ) et contre le mal de l'envieux quand il envie».
wa min sharri hasidin ida hasad

( 1 ) Dis: «Je cherche protection auprès du Seigneur des hommes.
koul a'oudou birabbi'nnas

( 2 ) The Sovereign of mankind.
( 2 ) Le Souverain des hommes,
maliki'nnas

( 3 ) The God of mankind,
( 3 ) Dieu des hommes,

ilahi'nnas

( 4 ) From the evil of the retreating whisperer -
( 4 ) contre le mal du mauvais conseiller, furtif,
min sharri'lwaswassi lkhannas

( 5 ) Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind -
( 5 ) qui souffle le mal dans les poitrines des hommes,

alladi youwaswissou fi sdouri'nnas

( 6 ) From among the jinn and mankind."
( 6 ) qu'il (le conseiller) soit un djinn, ou un être humain».
